Salary: £47,683+ depending on experience
Job Description:
CAD Designer responsible for developing and producing detailed CAD drawings and plans for facilities layouts.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and plans for facilities layouts, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural elements
* Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and facilities managers to translate concepts and requirements into accurate CAD designs
* Maintain and update existing CAD documentation to reflect changes and improvements
* Ensure all CAD work complies with company standards, industry regulations, and safety codes
* Assist in site surveys and gather data to support design activities
* Support project teams by providing timely and precise CAD deliverables
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably within facilities management, construction, or built environments using toolsets such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation or similar
* Strong understanding of building systems, architectural and engineering principles, workplace and building related regulations
* Detail-oriented with excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
* Experience with BIM (Building information Management/Modelling) – ISO 19650
* Hold relevant technical qualifications or certifications in CAD design or drafting
* Experience in document management systems (DMS) & common data environments (CDE) such as Project Wise, Asite or similar platforms
