Boeing is looking for a dynamic, energetic and driven Programmer/Analyst to join the engineering team in Bristol. The role involves providing remote and hands-on technical support to a diverse community of users. You will report directly to the Digital Services Manager and work closely with the Digital Services (Engineering) Team Lead.
You will support existing applications, assist in impact assessment of changes, and ensure smooth delivery. Collaboration with Customer, 3rd line IT teams, and project managers is essential to resolve problems, support projects, and maintain service quality.
The role requires delivering IT technical support at all levels, providing excellent customer service, and solving IT issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with 3rd line IT teams for application support.
* Respond to IT incidents, resolve or escalate as needed.
* Support software installations, patching, and releases.
* Maintain security and policy compliance.
* Contribute to documentation, procedures, and processes.
* Support system administration tasks, upgrades, and configuration changes.
* Participate in IT projects as needed.
Flexibility for on-call and off-hours support may be required.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Skills
* Degree in computing or engineering preferred.
* Experience in secure (classified) environments.
* SQL certifications desirable.
* Linux command line, shell scripting, containerization (OpenShift), and patching experience.
