Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucestershire
We are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team. The post holder will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload, and contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice. This role supports a holistic, therapeutic approach and offers the opportunity to develop with an established Clinical Team within Outcomes First Group.
Responsibilities
* Hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload at Brookthorpe Hall School.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils.
* Collaborate with the Clinical Team to support staff training, consultation and reflective practice.
* Contribute to the development of clinical provision and maintain a nurturing, safeguarding-focused environment.
Essential Criteria
* Speech and Language Therapy degree.
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT.
* A minimum of 5+ years practicing experience as a SaLT in similar settings with diverse and complex communication needs.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with some responsibility for service and/or team performance.
* Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing clinical supervision.
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty.
