About the Role
As SENCO, you will lead and coordinate the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring effective systems are in place to support student progress and wellbeing.
You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, senior leadership, parents/carers, and external agencies to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions and support plans.

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant school leadership experience
* National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it (where applicable)
* Experience supporting students with SEND in a school setting
* Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Desirable
* Previous SENCO experience in an independent or secondary school setting
* Experience supporting EHCP processes and liaising with external agencies
* Strong pastoral or inclusion experience
