About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Specialist Registrar (SpR) in Respiratory Medicine to join our team in Wiltshire. This is a full-time position available from 17th June 2024 to 30th August 2024, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work from 09:00 to 17:00, covering a full rota opportunity, including days.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients.
* Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop management plans.
* Manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
* Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and imaging studies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
* Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and case discussions.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
* Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in respiratory medicine.
Requirements:
* Medical degree and full GMC registration.
* Experience in respiratory medicine at the registrar level.
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
