Group Leader (Litigation and Employment) Manchester (Local Authority role) Initial 3-6 month contract Rate: Negotiable (Indicate rate sought) 35 hours per week, Hybrid working We are looking for an experienced manager with Employment Law experience. Local government experience would be desirable but not essential. Specific Role Accountabilities: Lead and develop the Litigation and Employment Group supported by the Team Managers / Team Supervisors. Work with the Litigation and Employment group to ensure compliance with LEXCEL procedures across the service. Set, monitor and review income targets across the group. Accountable for achieving effective solutions to problems across the Neighbourhood Services Group. The role holder will deputise for the Head of Neighbourhood Services as appropriate. Contribute to the Neighbourhood Services Group risk register working with the senior management team external Auditors, the City Treasurer and the Insurance and Risk Management Group (as appropriate), identifying any matters that involve high value, political or other sensitivity.
