CNC Machinist
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £15 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:30
* Friday: 08:00-15:30
* Overtime available midweek and Saturdays at 1.5x hourly rate
About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a well-established and growing joinery business in Doncaster. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering long‑term work for the right candidate. You will be working with a team of professionals in a busy, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC machines (Maestro or Xilog) for precision woodworking
* Interpret technical drawings and job specifications to ensure accurate machining
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Work as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements
* Previous experience as a CNC Machinist (essential)
* Proficient in using Maestro or Xilog CNC software
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
* Own transport is desirable due to location
