Role- Service Engineer
Salary- £38,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Essex / Hertfordshire
My client design, manufacture and service a range of electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Service Engineer, on a permanent basis.
The Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Previous experience of working in a similar hands on Service Engineer role – confident fault finding and carrying out repairs
* Electro-mechanical and hydraulic experience is needed
* A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
* Have a Full Driving Licence and a CSCS card
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Be very well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks
* Have excellent communications skills to work with customers
* Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office and be PC literate
The Service Engineer role will involve:
* Reporting to the Service Manager
* Maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical products
* Also installing new products when needed
* Ensuring you comply to company procedures – Quality and Health & Safety
* Completing site reports when required for repairs and maintenance
* Testing systems to ensure they work as they should
* Carrying out fault diagnosis
* Overtime is paid door to door
