Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Chesterton, Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5 6BN
Pay: Competitive rates of pay available subject to candidates experience and skill set. Rate of pay will increase following satisfactory performance.
Working hours: 8:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week. Overtime available on regular basis.

Details:
Due to continued growth and investment we are looking to appoint an additional CNC Operator to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will join an expanding team of experienced engineers, designers and operators in a new purpose build R&D environment ideal for building key skills and pushing technology in key areas of the business.
The successful candidate will be required to operate various CNC cutting machines including; 3-axis and 5-axis routers, 3-axis and 5-axis waterjets, hot wire polystyrene cutter and fast wire cutter.
Applicants must:
* Be experienced in operating and maintaining CNC machines.
* Be experienced with various materials such as wood, steel, and plastic.
* Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Have a practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
* Have excellent attention to detail with reference to quality.
* Have good cleanliness and housekeeping skills.
* Must be able to use hand and power tools.
