The Role
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Essex, managing multiple projects across London and the surrounding counties.
This is a great opportunity for an established Contracts Manager or a Site/Project Manager ready to take the next step into a senior commercial and leadership role. You will take responsibility for the commercial, contractual, and operational delivery of construction projects, acting as a key link between clients, site teams, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit tenders and bids to secure new projects
*
Meet with clients to understand requirements and agree scope of works
*
Act as the main point of contact for clients, site teams, and project managers
*
Manage subcontractors and third-party stakeholders to ensure clear communication and accountability
*
Ensure projects meet technical standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
*
Attend site meetings and monitor progress against programme and budget
*
Produce project plans, budgets, cost forecasts, and schedules
*
Draft, review, and negotiate contractual terms
*
Agree budgets, variations, and timescales with clients
*
Liaise with technical, financial, and legal teams through to final account and invoicing
About You
*
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Site Manager, or Project Manager role within construction
*
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
