Field Sales Engineer
An experienced sales engineer is required to join an innovation-led engineering solutions provider. The role involves selling electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors, and controls for manufacturing and production machinery automation across various sectors such as food & beverage, automotive, aerospace, process & industrial, FMCG, and pharma.
This position offers a great opportunity in technical sales, focusing on premium products integrated into innovative control and automation solutions, with an emphasis on waste reduction. The role is proactive, involving new business development and selling solutions to engineering managers rather than just boxed products based on price.
Key Requirements: Field sales experience and expertise in developing new business.
The Role:
* Selling engineering solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and automate processes.
* Scheduling appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, and Procurement Managers.
* Managing existing accounts and generating new business leads.
* Selling to both new and existing customers within the territory.
* Identifying opportunities for new solutions and collaborating with engineering teams and suppliers to develop them.
You:
Are genuinely interested in a field sales role with a willingness to pursue extensive new business opportunities.
Possess engineering qualifications, such as a degree, HNC, or apprenticeship training in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Candidates with experience as an internal sales engineer seeking a field-based role will also be considered.
