This role is to manage ATE’s correspondence and provide secretariat support to ATE boards and committees. As Correspondence Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all our correspondence including letters from members of the public, Members of Parliament and Freedom of Information requests are answered within departmental guidelines. You will be required to allocate letters to colleagues in ATE, draft replies and chase colleagues to ensure replies are sent out on time. As secretariat support you will assist the Board Secretariat in the administrative functions for the board including sending out appointments, circulating papers and taking minutes of the meetings.
Key Responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
* Leading across the agency to ensure all correspondence is produced to the required standard and in line with the relevant deadlines.
* Working with teams to produce high quality replies to Ministerial Correspondence, Treat Official cases, Freedom of Information requests and Parliamentary Questions.
* Producing monthly reports to show ATE’s performance against our correspondence targets.
