Architectural Technologist
Location: Cheltenham
Salary Expectations: £35-42,000 (DOE)

Key requirements:
7. Degree in Architectural Technology, or a related field (HND/HNC considered)
8. Significant UK-based post-graduate experience
9. Strong technical portfolio demonstrating commercial or industrial project work
10. Proficient in Revit (essential); AutoCAD knowledge advantageous
11. Sound knowledge of UK construction techniques, technical standards, and Building Regulations
12. Excellent organisational and communication skills
13. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
14. Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Main responsibilities:
15. Produce accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings and documentation for planning, tender, and construction stages
16. Translate conceptual designs into coordinated technical solutions
17. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
18. Coordinate spatial planning with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
19. Provide support across all RIBA stages (1-5)
20. Manage planning applications and submissions, advising clients on obligations and requirements
21. Ensure all documentation complies with current Building Regulations, codes, and standards
22. Undertake site visits, prepare observational reports, and resolve construction issues in collaboration with contractors
