We have a number of Specialist Business Support Officer vacancies across both Children’s and Adult Social Care, working within the Business Support Hub. Please see the relevant Job Descriptions attached for more detail.

About The Role

As a Specialist Business Support Officer, you will be the main point of contact via telephone, liaising with professionals, outside agencies, and the public. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to handle challenging behaviour.

About The Candidate

You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to record information accurately. Proven experience in minute-taking is required. The successful candidate will be resilient, compassionate, and able to handle difficult situations with understanding. Proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Office, and good keyboard skills are essential. You should be organized, able to build effective working relationships, work as part of a team, understand confidentiality, and have a keen attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines is also important.
