We are an NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK providing a wide range of clinical and non-clinical services.
The Band 3 Health Care Support Worker will be actively involved in the general organisation and daily running of the Pre-Operative Assessment Service and will participate in the provision of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Shift pattern: 30 hours per week, 8am to 6pm shifts. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the general organisation and daily running of the Pre‑Operative Assessment Service
* Provide direct patient care in support of a Registered Nurse, supervised directly and indirectly
* Support daily activities and maintain service standards
Qualifications (band 3):
* Experience in health or social care environment (preferred)
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
