One of our friendly partner primary schools in Hengoed is looking for a full-time Support Worker to join their team for the academic year. No formal qualifications are needed – just enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Assist teachers with everyday classroom activities
Support pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism and ADHD
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom
Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Is kind, patient, and committed to helping children reach their potential
Can bring transferable skills from backgrounds such as care, youth work, customer service, or similar roles
Wants to gain experience in education and grow into a school-based career
