Position: Chef de Partie, Colleague Restaurant
Location: London, United Kingdom
Client: Accor
Salary: £42,600 for a 48-hour contract
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef with production and training needs.
2. Help control your section and deputize in the Sous Chef's absence.
3. Maintain The Savoy standards across your section.
4. Prepare daily food items according to business needs.
5. Ensure proper handling of food in line with health & hygiene standards.
6. Participate in training programs and external duties like events and demonstrations.
7. Coordinate with team members and ensure effective communication.
8. Supervise and demonstrate cooking methods when required.
9. Monitor food quality and safety, reporting hazards as needed.
10. Assist with ordering raw materials and receiving goods.
11. Comply with health and safety regulations, including the Food Acts.
Qualifications
1. 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Confident speaker with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
4. Positive attitude and relationship-building skills.
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines independently.
6. Flexibility and multi-skilling to adapt to hotel needs.
