Overview
Management Accountant — Full-Time, Office-Based, Loughton, Essex. Salary: £40,000 + benefits. A fast-growing business in the construction sector is looking for a hands-on finance professional to join its expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone qualified by experience or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) who wants to take ownership of their work and grow within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Support month-end reporting and daily finance operations
* Oversee invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and supplier accounts
* Manage subcontractor payments and CIS compliance
* Assist with VAT returns, year-end, and ad-hoc finance tasks
* Work closely with operations and senior finance leaders
Ideal candidate / Qualifications
* Solid accounting experience and strong Excel skills
* Sage 50 knowledge preferred
* Interest in construction accounting (training provided)
* A proactive mindset and attention to detail
