Trade Counter Assistant / Driver at TieTalent

Responsibilities
* Trade Counter Assistants are hands-on, lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor in day to day branch operations.
* Sell to customers at the trade counter and achieve sales targets, confidently communicating product knowledge.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
* Picking, loading and delivering products to customers via Eurocell’s 3.5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Route planning, safe driving and keeping the Company vehicle clean.
* Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities in a timely, complete manner.
* Compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures.
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and Branch sales targets are achieved.
* Support the delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations and provide support to Branch colleagues as required.
* Maintain branch standards including warehouse and stock management, front of house cleanliness and point of sale.

* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
* A hands-on, customer-focused approach; confident and happy to engage with customers and potential customers.
* A commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers are satisfied.
* Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and use initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry software (e.g., SAP).
* Full and valid driving licence is essential; FLT licence could be an advantage.
* Experience with stock takes could be an advantage.
* Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasion, alone.
* Experience in a similar role in a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment could be an advantage.

Our Trade Branch Network roles offer a host of benefits and support your work/life balance. We are not open on Sundays and generally operate a rota for occasional Saturdays, with branch close times of 4:30pm on weekdays.
