Prospero Teaching is looking for a History Teacher to start in Easter time on a full-time basis. This role is based in a school in the Chelmsford area.
About the school and contract:
1. We are looking for a History Teacher to start in March 2024 in a secondary school in the Chelmsford area.
2. You will be focusing on teaching KS3 and KS4 students.
3. NQTS are encouraged to apply.
4. You will have LSAs to support you where necessary.
5. There may also be some 1:1 teaching involved.
6. The SLT are experienced and supportive with specialists in all areas of the Humanities subjects.
7. The school are fully equipped to offer tailored support through your NQT induction year.
8. Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking.
About the successful History Teacher:
9. Hold QTS or QTLS.
10. Hold a relevant History related degree.
11. Experience teaching in the UK is desirable but not essential.
12. You will have excellent classroom and behaviour management.
13. You will be pro active and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
