Construction / Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering North Yorkshire 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Site Based Up to £75,000 Principal People are pleased to be supporting a specialist consultancy with the recruitment of a Construction / Project Manager to support a major engineering and infrastructure project based within a live operational power generation environment in North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile engineering project involving complex mechanical, construction, and process engineering works including installation of process equipment, silos, conveyors, M&E systems, and structural steel works within an existing operational facility. The successful Construction / Project Manager will take ownership of day-to-day site coordination and construction activities, working closely with contractors, engineering teams, operational stakeholders, and client representatives to ensure safe and efficient delivery across the project. This role would suit an experienced construction or project professional with a strong mechanical engineering background who is comfortable operating within heavy industrial, process engineering, energy, or other high hazard operational environments. Experience within industrial, engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or heavy construction projects CSCS, Safety Passport or equivalent site certification Degree, HNC, or HND within Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline This is a full time resident role based on site in North Yorkshire, typically 4-5 days per week.
