Job Description
East Suffolk Council's Regulatory Compliance Team is looking for a Housing Dispute Resolution Manager. The role involves leading and managing the strategic and operational response to housing disrepair complaints, HHSRS hazards, and condition‑related disputes, with a particular focus on damp and mould.
Your responsibilities include ensuring timely, legally compliant resolution of complaints and disrepair cases, in line with housing legislation, the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code, and new legal requirements such as Awaab’s Law.
Qualifications
* Experience managing staff, teams or multidisciplinary working groups in a social housing setting.
* Depth knowledge of disrepair law, HHRSR, and related housing condition standards.
* Experience responding to or managing legal disrepair claims and complaints within a social housing setting.
