Change Project Manager
Location: Northampton (Hybrid Working 2 days onsite)
Contract Length: Until 31st December 2025
Day Rate: Up to £330/day (Inside IR35)
Status:MUST be eligible for BPSS
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Change Project Manager to lead complex transformation initiatives for a large financial services organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery—ensuring all change initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage change projects from initiation through to successful implementation.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, and delivery schedules.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
* Lead cross-functional project teams, including internal staff and third-party vendors.
* Monitor project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reporting of costs.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions throughout the project lifecycle.
* Drive effective change management activities including training, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
* Prepare and present regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and benefits realisation.
Essential Experience:
* Proven experience in project delivery across large-scale, cross-functional teams.
* Expertise in managing internal and external delivery partners.
* Strong financial and budget management capabilities.
* Previous delivery experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in delivering change initiatives across Technology, Operations, Sales, and Legal functions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong governance and risk management awareness.
