The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Parts & Operations Administrator to support our Test & Development (T&D) department on a 3-month contract. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth management of parts, logistics, and administrative processes that underpin prototype development and testing activities.

You will act as a central point of coordination between Engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and laboratory heads, ensuring parts are ordered, inspected, tracked, and delivered efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Parts & Logistics Management

* Raise stock requests, credit card requests, and purchase orders in line with company procedures
* Order, retrieve, and inspect parts against engineering drawings
* Collate, maintain, and manage detailed parts lists and requirements
* Package and ship parts and prototypes domestically and internationally
* Arrange carnets and manage shipping documentation for prototype movements

Financial & Administrative Support

* Book in and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain organised records of parts, documentation, and prototype files
* Provide general administrative support to the Test & Development function

Stakeholder Coordination

* Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, customers, and laboratory heads regarding parts requirements and logistics
* Ensure clear communication and timely updates on part status and deliveries

Essential
Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in parts management, logistics coordination, or a similar operational role
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience viewing CAD models and comparing them to physical parts
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and coordination skills

Desirable

* Experience within the automotive industry
