As a Primary School Teacher, you will support pupils across key stages, helping them build strong academic foundations while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Main Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum Teach across key stages, supporting pupils in core and foundation subjects Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Use a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff Build strong relationships with parents and carers Primary School Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in primary schools is desirable Strong understanding of the primary curriculum Excellent classroom management and organisational skills A creative, adaptable, and engaging teaching approach A genuine passion for primary education An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
