The Marine Alliance for Science and Technology for Scotland (MASTS) is a dynamic membership organisation uniting the majority of Scotland’s marine science community — spanning leading universities, public bodies, and independent research institutes. For over a decade, MASTS has driven collaboration, coordination, and greater impact in marine science, whilst the MASTS Graduate School supports postgraduate researchers and the Scottish Universities Partnership for Ecological Research (SUPER) Doctoral Training Programme. The MASTS Directorate is hosted by the Scottish Oceans Institute (SOI) at the University of St Andrews.

· Experience working across academic and non-academic environments.
· A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
We are content to consider applicants interested in working via secondment from another organisation in the marine or environmental sector.
