Our Team Leaders play a critical role in helping deliver justice, this role will enable you to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills. You are responsible for making sure your team deliver excellent administrative support and customer service to service users, judiciary and management.

Your role
* Lead the team, focus on the team’s area of work, ensuring work is prioritised and organised and the team is fully skilled to meet objectives.
* Recognise the importance of the team’s overall wellbeing and motivate the team to succeed.
* Contribute to the delivery of operational, performance and service standard targets; provide statistical data for the management team and judiciary.
* Monitor and analyse performance areas and trends, conduct ongoing reviews of procedures and work practices, recommend improvements, navigate change and manage implementation of new initiatives and legislation.
* Support the development of leadership skills through HMCTS leadership offer.
Your skills and experience
* Ability to motivate and support your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve effective performance.
* Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer‑focussed environment.
* IT proficiency with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software packages.
* Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
Requirements
* Expected to join at the band minimum.
* Office‑based role that provides HMCTS services to the public.
* Standard full‑time working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Flexible, part‑time and job‑sharing arrangements may be considered where they meet the demands of the role.
* Occasional local travel required for cover/training when needed.
* Role is not eligible for new Skilled Worker visas in accordance with current immigration rules.
