1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stafford - Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Catholic Primary School in Stafford. The post is on a temporary basis.
This opportunity is great for somebody who is seeking an incredibly rewarding role as a 1:1 teaching assistant. The school require two 1:1 Teaching Assistant's, one supporting a young boy in Reception. The other post is supporting a boy in the Year 4 Class. The school benefits from a team who work together to provide the very best education for all pupils across the school.
The role includes:
Providing excellent 1:1 support for the pupil.
Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
Working alongside the class teacher and other staff members to provide 1:1 support working closely with the pupil.
Assisting class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet the pupil's needs on a daily basis.
The ability to create and foster an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment.
Confident working alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.
Able to provide support as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a non-verbal pupil with additional needs.
The candidate must be comfortable and professional in delivering personal care duties with dignity and respect.We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Experience is desirable).
Is a patient, caring, and reliable individual.
Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly non-verbal communication strategies (e.g., visual supports), would be advantageous.
Able to commute to Stafford daily.
Enhanced DBS.
Available to start ASAP.
Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs.
Fully registered to work for Academics.Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
