Robert Half has partnered with a major infrastructure business to recruit for an Investment Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) and can be based in Bristol or Glasgow.
The Role
The Investment Analyst will support a large-scale, long-term low-carbon infrastructure project, providing financial insight to inform commercial and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ownership and ongoing maintenance of a complex investment case financial model
2. Producing financial analysis and reporting to support investment, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements
3. Working closely with finance, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost and performance data
4. Maintaining and updating key financial assumptions, including inflation and foreign exchange
5. Supporting post-financial close activities, including equity and shareholder-related analysis
The Candidate
6. Background in either accounting or financial analysis
7. Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent analytical experience
8. Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel skills
9. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
10. Eligible for UK security vetting (typically UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years)
Package & Benefits
11. Salary: £54,000 - £62,000
12. 5% bonus
13. 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
