£41,052 (Including shift allowance) plus overtime (£45,000+ achievable with O/T)
4 on - 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights

With this in mind, we are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our close-knit team in Glasgow to help the site maintain its excellent track record.
The Glasgow site is based in the North of the City and supplies the whole of Scotland and the North of England. This is a great opportunity to bring your new ideas to life, make an immediate impact on our operations, and build a career with Marley.
What’s the role about?
Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
You'll be involved in a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, you'll carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on site.
Working 39 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rotation, you'll enjoy a great work-life balance! There is also potential for overtime to increase your earnings.
What are the required skills?
* Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering
* Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer with NVQ Level 3
* Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics is advantageous
* Experience in fabrication and welding is beneficial
* Team player with attention to detail
* Good understanding of environmental, health, and safety issues and regulatory requirements
* Experience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
* Excellent command of English, both oral and written
