The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and further develop their career. The successful candidate should have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of MRI experience, with strong organisational skills to work effectively within the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. Experience in performing different types of MRI scans routinely is required.
Previous cannulation experience would be advantageous. IV cannulation skills are essential for this role, and training will be provided where necessary. Evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required.
Key skills include excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, time management, communication and negotiating skills, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, and IT literacy. The ability to work under pressure is also important. HCPC registration is mandatory.
You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will also have support from a Clinical Lead.
