School Youth Worker – Full-Time, Temporary – Birmingham Salary: £88.92–£95.42 per day The School and Role This is not a typical classroom role. We are looking for a strong, calm, and resilient individual who can become a positive role model for young people who need stability, guidance, and someone who won’t give up on them. ABC Teachers are recruiting for a School Youth Worker to support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs in a specialist school in Birmingham. Many pupils have faced barriers in their education and need consistent adults who can build trust, set boundaries, and help them regulate their emotions. You will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them re-engage with learning, manage behaviour, and develop confidence and life skills. Every day is different, and every small breakthrough matters. This role is ideal for candidates from youth work, residential care, support work, coaching, or mentoring backgrounds who want to make a real difference.
