Based from Bovey Tracey, Devon, we work with clients in the construction industry, public sector, renewable energy and the private sector throughout the South West region, working nationally on larger schemes. Head Mechanic
We have a Vacancy for a Mechanic to work as part of our dynamic team. A full driving licence is essential. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the motor / Plant industry. We offer competitive rates of pay dependent on experience, workplace pension, training and qualification to the industry standard. Applicants should be physically fit and prepared to work indoors & outdoors all year round.
You will require your own transport to and from work. We are looking for the right candidate to keep the maintenance to a high standard on our full fleet ranging from 3.5 ton flatbed trucks, 4x4 pick-ups, Small petrol tools to Excavators ranging from Micro - 21 tons ,Forward tipping dumpers, ADT's, Telehandlers, Tracked Post-Knockers along with other machines and tools.
The ability to weld and fabricate would be preferred.
Our typical working hours are Mon to Fri, 7:30 - 17:00, but this may vary depending on work location and client demand.
