Job Introduction
The Marketing Coordinator will support the development, delivery, and management of marketing campaigns within the TV Content Marketing team. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work across both Unscripted and Scripted content, including titles like The Traitors, Gladiators, Race Across the World, Glow Up, The Gold, and The Night Manager.
The role involves working closely with various teams to create innovative 360 marketing campaigns that promote the BBC brand and generate talkability. The ideal candidate is motivated, with a fresh perspective, and is eager to learn and develop in the marketing field.
Main Responsibilities
Campaign Development and Delivery
* Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
* Assist in developing creative assets and manage specific campaign assets to meet media plan deliverables.
* Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns for simpler projects.
* Collaborate with internal teams on creative concepts and assets.
* Ensure all marketing activities comply with BBC Editorial Guidelines.
* Organize campaign collateral, documentation, and performance records.
Strategy and Planning
* Follow strategic plans during campaign development.
* Utilize audience insights to inform campaign assets.
* Assist in evaluating campaign performance with the audiences team.
* Manage multiple deliverables efficiently to ensure timely and quality outputs.
Relationships and Development
* Coordinate across creative, media, social, and communications teams for integrated delivery.
* Proactively seek learning opportunities, provide feedback, and develop professional skills.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate has limited marketing experience or demonstrates a strong aptitude for creative, organizational, and collaborative work. Essential skills include initiative, critical evaluation, organization, stakeholder management, creative judgment, communication, teamwork, and deadline management.
Desirable skills include experience managing marketing campaigns and familiarity with media industry practices.
