About the Nursery Deputy Manager role:
* Location: Early Steps Dudley, Gornalwood
* Salary: £14 per hour, we pay above average
* Contract: Permanent
* Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week to work varied shifts between 7:15-6:00pm (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities for the Nursery Deputy Manager role include:
* Supporting Nursery manager with senior responsibilities including administration, reporting, and parent partnership
* Using childcare systems and Microsoft Office
* Room-based duties include supporting and managing a team of childcare staff and apprentices, key children responsibilities with planning and assessment
* New customer show-arounds and customer-facing responsibilities
Requirements for the Nursery Deputy Manager:
* Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
* IT skills - confident use of Microsoft Office and childcare CRMs (desirable)
* Experience with motivating and mentoring staff either in a room leader or senior capacity
* Customer service skills
