The Engineering Manager will have overall responsibility for the leadership and development of a high performance engineering team, and the embedding of high standard maintenance processes and practices within a highly automated 24/7 mozzarella cheese production and packing facilit.
* Build lasting relationships with internal teams to support seamless operations.
* Lead, coach and develop reporting engineers and team leaders to ensure capability to deliver current and future business objectives and encourage flexibility and cross functional skills.
* Ensure 24/7 maintenance cover across the site to ensure the execution of all PPM activity.
* Lead an effective culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of plant operations and maintenance.
* Support team development through coaching and regular check-ins - everyone's growth matters!
* Champion a high standard of quality in the engineering department at all times.
* Drive and support a positive Health and Safety culture within the department where H&S is given equal priority with all other activities
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
* Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
* 3+ years of recent and relevant experience leading and managing an engineering team within a manufacturing environment.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
* 2nd class degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
* IOSH qualification
* 5+ years of experience working in a dairy or food production setting.
