“Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for an OR9-OF3 to serve as CIS Planning Officer at RAF Wyton on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of Oc t 25. “ Unit Function The UKStratCom mission is to develop and prepare an integrated Joint Force, including the generation of assigned joint enabling capabilities, for current and future operations. UKStratCom Infra delivers infrastructure projects in support of UKStratCom and manages its estate in the UK and overseas. Position Role: The position of CIS Planning Officer (CPO) is required to support the delivery of Defence Estates Optimisation (DEO) programme UKStratCom 1.1a (known as Defence Intelligence Consolidation (DI_C)). DI_C is a complex programme to rationalise and optimise Defence Intelligence (DI) establishments in the UK. A dedicated CPO is required to manage and coordinate CIS aspects of the programme across multiple sites and requirements. Responsibilities: Lead all CIS elements of the DI_C programme. Manage project costs, times, quality, and resources, coordinating and collating project activities, including business cases, scheduling, requirements, and project briefs. Whole life management of projects from inception through to successful delivery. Provide technical support to the wider Programme Team to support CIS integration into the infrastructure planning assumptions. Manage CIS risks, issues, assumptions, requirements, benefits and opportunities and report these -through line management with mitigations and cost models where appropriate. Track CIS milestones and targets, including providing CIS input to project update and governance meetings. Identify, engage, and manage stakeholders at all levels. Enable effective communication and coordination between the Project support functions and stakeholders, including external suppliers and customer base. Undertake travel to Sites as required to attend in-person meetings, workshops & training. Brief and present on area of expertise as required, to customers and stakeholders. Support, coordinate and lead on CIS requirements that have interdependencies for DI – C throughout the programmes life span. Engage with disposing authorities to ensure each disposal site is vacated in accordance with MOD CIS policy.
