B2 Licensed Engineer (Rotary) – Staverton, Gloucester. Full-time onsite role. Working hours: 6/4/4 shift pattern on a rostered basis.

Gama Aviation is a reputable Business Aviation company operating both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. We are growing and expanding with exciting contracts secured. An opportunity has arisen for a B2 Licensed Engineer to join our Rotary Base Maintenance team.
Responsibilities
* Completion and certification of Electrical and Avionic systems related tasks as defined in the MOE, on the Company’s aircraft either carried out directly by the engineer or by non-certifying engineers.
* Ensure work is accomplished in accordance with approved data and Company policies and procedures.
* Completion of all paperwork and documentation.
* Issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company’s computer system (Corridor).
* All work completed using approved tools and ground support equipment.
* Work completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation.
* The working environment is approved and appropriate to the task being undertaken.
* All tooling is accounted for prior to return to service.
* All post maintenance actions have been completed.
* Completion of maintenance detailed in the Maintenance Status Report.
* Reporting defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
* Reporting issues regarding Health and Safety or Flight Safety via the Company’s reporting system (iQSMS).
* Engineering additional duties as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
* Assist AOG recovery across the rotary fleet during periods of sickness or holiday.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required
* An EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
* Strong maintenance related technical knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.
* Good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors.
* Ability to take responsibility and ownership of tasks.
* Ability to understand the requirement of clear, unambiguous communication.
* Familiarity with OEM appropriate to helicopter type.
* Ability to work alone and willingness to travel to multiple sites for effective coverage of rotary line stations.
