About the Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Redcar.
What you'll be doing
- Work with supply chain partners at a micro level to standardise data sets
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders across various levels of the organization
- Utilise Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with the project teams to understand their data needs and provide support in decision‑making processes
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance against targets
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist in the development and implementation of data‑driven strategies to optimise operations
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
- Document and present project performance measures and reports, both internal and external
- Stay up to date on the latest innovations and what competitors are implementing
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within construction or supply chain management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and data analysis functions
- Strong experience with PowerBI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualisation
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
