About The Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Redcar.
What you’ll be doing
* Work with supply chain partners at a micro level to standardise data sets
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI to provide real‑time insights to stakeholders across various levels of the organisation
* Utilise Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
* Collaborate with project teams to understand their data needs and provide support in decision‑making processes
* Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance against targets
* Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
* Assist in the development and implementation of data‑driven strategies to optimise operations
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
* Document and present project performance measures and reports, both internal and external
* Stay up to date on the latest innovations and what competitors are implementing
Who we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within construction or supply chain management
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and data analysis functions
* Strong experience with PowerBI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualisation
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
