Job Posting Title: Producer, Visual Verification (FTC - 6 Months) Req ID: 10146048 Job Description: About the Role & Team You will be a key member of ABC's newsgathering team. This role combines traditional reporting with cutting edge digital forensics techniques to verify video, including user - generated content (UGC), for use in ABC News reporting. You will exercise strong news judgment enabling you to proactively identify the needs of ABC News platforms. Often working under limited direction, you will seek out, obtain, and verify video and images and will pitch, produce, and contribute to projects utilizing these images. Knowledge of open-source intelligence (OSINT) methods is highly desirable; strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role requires flexible hours including some weekends.
