Overseeing the care of our residents throughout the home will bring a variety of responsibilities, from developing team members, ensuring that legislation is adhered to, and all aspects of care is delivered safely. Leading by example and driving high standards, ensures everyone is treated with respect, dignity and compassion.

Our Ideal Candidate:
* Active registration/PIN with the NMC.
* Dementia and Nursing home experience Essential.
* Knowledge and experience of related legislation, effective care planning and development.
* Professional, understanding, and patient with a warm personality.
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong Team player with the ability to coach and develop colleagues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
About Orchard Care Homes
A former mining community, Castletown is an area of Sunderland north of the River Wear and close to Hylton Castle. With good road access to Wessington Way, Lansbury care home is a single-storey modern home that has been purpose-built to provide specialist care tailored to both younger adults and older people living with dementia.
