We are recruiting a Cafe Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly and professional team at our Glen Nevis Youth Hostel, part of the Lochaber Group As a Café Assistant, you’ll take on a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the café. This includes preparing and serving drinks and light food, delivering excellent customer service, and helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the space. You’ll also handle payments, operate the till, and support your teammates during busy periods. We’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working with people. You should be a natural communicator, comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn. Reliability and flexibility are important, along with a passion for creating a truly great experience for every customer who visits our Hostel Café.
