Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Fully Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
* MRCOG (or appropriate specialist qualification in OBGYN)
* On Specialist Register or within 6 months of receiving CCT (or equivalent) at the time of interview
* Certificate of completion of sub-specialty training in Gynaecological-oncology or equivalent (e.g. ESGO
Desirable criteria
* Higher degree (MD or PhD)
* Teaching qualification/Higher qualification in medical education
* Colposcopy accreditation with BSCCP
Experience
Essential criteria
* Evidence of an ability to develop effective working relationships, on an individual and multi-disciplinary basis with all levels of staff ("Working Together")
* Evidence of working with management and clinical colleagues to improve a service ("Always Improving")
* Values partnership with other agencies ("Working Together")
* Evidence of teaching and training of post/undergraduate clinical staff
* Evidence of initiating, progressing and completing audit
* Evidence of active participation in research including peer reviewed publications
* Evidence of proficiency in surgical management of gynaecological cancers including minimal access surgery and all facets of pre and postoperative care
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of work experience internationally in an accredited gynaecological oncology centre
