Currently, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
* Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
* Support containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) aligned with customer cloud governance and security standards.
* Collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams to streamline release management and improve deployment automation.
* Own, support, and improve the programme's use of GitHub as the single source of all code repositories in the organization
* Ensure code quality, branching strategies, and repository structure are maintained according to best practices.
* Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
* Oversee security, compliance, and audit readiness, adhering to customer and public sector standards.
* Provide technical consultancy and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.Requirements:
* Azure Certified (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent).
About you:
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in DevOps roles.
* Minimum 1 years of hands-on use of GitHub. Preference will be given to candidates with the GitHub Foundations Certificate (GH-900)
* Proven background in consulting or public sector projects.
* Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and SLDC and CI/CD principles.
