Role: SEN teacher
Location: Greater Manchester
Hours: Full Time or Part Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm days
Value Education are seeking SEN teachers. This position will be working 5 days a week teaching students of SEN and SEMH schools. The School we are working with are open to accepting candidates with strong experience or newly qualified ECT.

Role of a SEN Teacher:
Responsibilities
* Plan GCSE SEN lessons that are engaging and adapt to various abilities
* Strong knowledge of the curriculum
* Use strong de-escalation strategies to keep the students engaged
* Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status preferable
* Experience delivering GCSE English lessons at Secondary Level
* Strong subject knowledge
* Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils
* An understanding of working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
* An understanding of pupils behaviour patterns when experiencing complex needs
