DevOps Engineer (Security Clearance)

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. In this role, you will optimise Azure AKS and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters, ensuring uptime, security, scalability and performance across secure cloud environments. You will take ownership of infrastructure defined in Terraform, using GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and maintain consistency across environments. You will also participate in an on-call rota, supporting critical systems and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. With the backing of experienced colleagues, you will help evolve our protective monitoring capability while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Administer & Optimise Azure AKS and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters
• Automate & Streamline deployments through GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor & Enhance system performance, scalability and security
• You will bring hands-on experience in Linux-based operational environments and practical expertise managing Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure with Terraform. You should be comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud-based systems in Azure and AWS, and troubleshooting complex technical issues in secure environments.
Experience working with Linux in an operational environment
• Working knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with SIEM or large-scale data platforms
• Scripting experience in Python
