The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and diligent Accounts Assistant to join our global Finance Team, on a fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning stages of their Finance career who is looking for a supportive and collaborative team, with whom they can learn and develop their accounting and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Raising sales ledger invoices, booking revenue and credit control
* Processing suppliers' invoices and preparing payables lists
* Handling bank and credit card reconciliation
* Posting journals in the accounts system and clearing entries
* Managing the employees' expenses process on the internal platform
* Preparing payroll journals to be uploaded to the accounting system
* Providing ad hoc support for the finance team
What We're Looking For

* Basic Excel skills
* High attention to detail

* Strong communication skills
* A desire to grow and develop your skills
Desirable Skills
* Bachelor's degree or other recognised qualification in bookkeeping, finance or a relevant field
* Experience of working within a finance team
