Job Overview
ABUHB Respiratory Physiology Department is located at St Woolos and Nevill Hall Hospitals.
You would have the opportunity to help provide a high quality, appropriate and effective specialist respiratory test service performing a full range of lung function tests, Sleep Studies and CPAP set ups for outpatients: providing technical reports and interpretation where appropriate. This role would also provide you with the opportunity to rotate through each site.
This role would have the opportunity to increase to a band 6 in approximately two years if all the appropriate achievements are met.
Main duties of the job
* To help provide a high quality, appropriate and effective specialist respiratory test service performing a full range of lung function tests, Sleep Studies and CPAP set ups for outpatients; providing technical reports and interpretation where appropriate.
* To be responsible for the monitoring and performance of calibration and quality control procedures for all equipment.
* Undertake clinics in the out-patient setting.
* Monday – Friday working hours.

* Experience in the Respiratory outpatient setting
* Ability to work as an independent practitioner
