As a C# Software Engineer / Android Application Developer you will be involved in enhancing and supporting a feature-rich mobile application using C#, Xamarin, MAUI, SQL integrating in an Azure environment. You will ensure effective integration with APIs, peripherals and mobile notification services. In this C# Software Engineer / Android Application Developer role you will join a friendly and supportive team, taking ownership of tasks, solving problems collaboratively and delivering high-quality software within an Agile development environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Your duties as the C# Software Engineer / Android Application Developer include: Maintaining and Enhancing the organisations Android-based mobile application Developing and Supporting features using C#, Xamarin and MAUI Managing Device Databases including SQL data storage and synchronisation Integrating Applications with APIs, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi peripherals Building Robust APIs to support mobile functionality Ensuring Reliable Communications with Azure services and notification frameworks Collaborating With Teams to investigate and resolve issues Providing Technical Input throughout the full software development lifecycle Working To Agile Practices including testing and configuration management Supporting Continuous Improvement of tools, workflows and processes CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL At least 3 years of proven industry experience of mobile development using C#, Xamarin or MAUI Experience with mobile database management and synchronisation Background in integrating applications with APIs and third-party services Experience with UI development for mobile applications Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle Experience with Agile methodologies Experience with Git or similar source control tools DESIRABLE Experience with Bluetooth integration Experience with mobile SQL database management Experience with notification services such as SignalR Experience communicating with stakeholders and customers Background in using Mobile Device Management tools A background in the fuel or logistics sector
