Salary: £63,000 – £85,000 + bonus
A leading Top 50 national law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate (2+ PQE) to join its highly regarded disputes team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a network of Legal 500 ranked partners on high-value, complex commercial disputes, with genuine scope to develop your technical expertise and progress your career within a top-tier environment.
In this role, you will handle a broad and varied caseload of high-quality disputes work, advising a diverse range of commercial clients across sectors. You will be given early responsibility, alongside strong supervision and support from experienced senior lawyers, enabling you to grow confidently into a more senior disputes practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on a broad range of commercial disputes, including domestic and cross-border contract disputes
* Acting on shareholder, partnership, and director disputes
* Handling professional negligence claims
* Assisting with urgent and strategic dispute resolution matters, including injunctive relief and reputation-sensitive cases
* Managing your own matters with appropriate autonomy, supported by senior colleagues where required
* Working directly with clients and contributing to the development of long-term client relationships
* Supporting business development initiatives and collaborating across teams to deliver integrated legal solutions
